REVIEW CELESTIAL SANCTUARY "MASS EXTINCTION"

So, here we go with another release from Brutal Cave Productions, this time a 2-track demo by Celestial Sanctuary (named after a Bolt Thrower-song from "The IVth Crusade) from Cambridge, England. Celestial Sanctuary are a relatively new band, founded in 2019. These demo tracks seem to be the first "official" recordings of the band, and they convice all along the line. You can hear raw and unpolished death metal at its finest. Imagine a mixture between bands such as Benediction, Grave and maybe a bit of Massacres classic "From Beyond". There's a high dynamic range due to varying speeds and the use of really cool groove-oriented mid-tempo parts.

By the way, referring to the high quality of the label's releases I can imagine that Brutal Cave Productions can go the way that FDA Records already went. If you are always searching for new and great jewels of the underground, then go for Celestial Sanctuary !
